On current form (for both us and the Giants) there is no way we will concede less than 20 points. Its going to be a tough one.

Loss of between 6 and 18 points I think but we could sneak a win. All depends on what team Royce draws out of the hat this week.

We've just lost by 2 points in the last second to an unbeaten side who are arguably stronger than Hudds, so now we're now going to lose by 40 next week?

The mighty Giants scored in the last minute in London to marginally better our margin of victory there, I'm not the terrified, quivering wreck some on here are about this game.

Knee jerking lives on on rlfans.

I think the point is not the manner of defeat, but the fact that we have conceded 70 points in 2 weeks. Hull KR have scored 84 points this season, 36 of them against us, Catalans have scored 96 points - 34 of them against us.

Huddersfield have a stronger defence than Catalans this season (avg. 17 points a game conceded, 21points for Catalans and 26 for us); and have scored more than Catalans (35 -v- 32, 35 for us).

Based on the average stats, the score will be Huddersfield 31 - Saints 26.

Foster's recent howlers aside, our problems seem to be systematic rather than based on individuals. I think it will be less to do with what names are on the team sheet and more to do with how cohesively we perform in defence and whether our line speed is up to scratch.

Having said that, I do think we'll need Gaskell's kicking game to compete.

Wellens,Foster,LMS all need to be dropped this week after that deffensive display at the weekend there were others but those three stand out for me

They stood out for me, too, and although I'm not a great fan of Meli in defence, he'll be at centre and Gardner outside of him so there is a better (though not 100%) chance of Hudds not getting around us on that side. I have much more confidence in Shenton and Makinson. Wello was next to useless on Friday night but I can't see him being dropped. I'd like to see Ashe given a go there again so that he can build on his experience. LMs should be dropped also but given we have lost TP to injury I doubt Royce will give a debut to one of our young promoted props so LMS is likely to play again.

True, we need to tighten up as a unit. I do think there's a couple of names that need to be switched around at the minute though which should help the teams efficiency.

Dunno, someone mentioned a reaction to a shoulder operation? But as with most players, it's could just be finalcontractsigneditis.

interesting game this weekend we played our worst game so far this season and won at London played far better against
Warrington and lost !!

Don't think you'll see the best of us until round 8 onwards when we can field a back row of O'Donnell, Fa'alago and one from chan, fai'umu and gilmour be a few teams won't fancy us then!

Its a sign of the times when just turning up doesn't guarentee you the points it will be a good physical but also open game enjoy !!

Mindst its got easier since KC retired and you're bound to miss James Graham he was a big cog in your wheel !!
