At the risk of being shouted at for daring to have a go at the glorious Superleague system yet again, I just can't see the point at all in forking out the best part of 100 quid and an entire Saturday for me and the Mrs. to go and see some pointless friendly when I can go and see a game that actually matters to the outcome of one of my teams' season going on at the same time instead. I was excited at the start of the season to see the new stadium, but I've done that now and there's nothing else for me to get worked up about in SL for another 4 or 5 months when the Challenge Cup starts in earnest frankly (bar the Wigan game naturally ).

Don't know if I will be going to the game.We came within a couple of minutes of beating Charlton on Tuesday after our disaster against Rochdale last Saturday.
Your lot should make the top 6 but don't think you will go up automatically

Agreed - Charlton and the Sheffield clubs are just that little bit better than us and our squad is a little bit thin overall (and we just had Adam Smith snatched back to Spurs who's been our best player by a mile so far this season - saves us having to get 2 "A. Smith" shirts printed out though I suppose ). Top 6 is pretty much guaranteed though short of disaster (we've been on a horrible run with both poor form and shocking refereeing going against us since before Xmas and are still 6 points clear of 7th after all) and anything can happen then I'd be a bit worried if I were you as our bad run/bad luck is surely due to end soon and I reckon some team is going to be on the end of a total hammering at Stadium:MK soon when we snap out if it - I hope you do the decent thing and accept your pasting with dignity

£10 Adult £5 Ankle biters. Think any one driving down will be heading back north in the snow but game will be OK I hope. Safe trip down to you all.

Well, I'd never hinge all my plans on an English weather forecast. Just take a spade, some blankets, your wellies, some spare food and drink and wrap up warm and you're sorted!

First time I've missed the London game in years and usually stay over but got to be out early in the morning and can't risk not making it back.
