I believe the aim is for the Saturday games to transfer to monday once the footie season ends.

Hence matches in June will be shown on a Friday and Monday.

Presumably once August comes around and the footie season restarts then it will revert back to Friday and Saturday.

So basically sky are keeping bums off seats to keep sky sports viewing figures up on Monday nights as the football season is over.

Sky, mess everything up but we can't survive without them.

When do you think the BBC had their floodlite comp .........tuesday nights and folks still went to watch from both side

As a saints fan working about a mile from Headingley it'll suit me just fine. Before I get the 'I'm alright Jack' replies, bear in mind my Friday night trek to games which involves leaving work and heading 40 miles in the wrong direction to collect my little girl before the 90-odd mile journey to the game starts.

From a personal point, i'm up at 4.45am for work Mon-Sat so it's a NO for me....and the amount of children that will miss out too because of school. I'd prefare Sat or Sun TBH...In reply to "diehardofowld" in fairness to your comment about the "Floodlit Trophy" that was a cup comp from what i recall so it was separate from the league...
