No it isn't. Sky and Heinz are both advertising on the Stobart trucks. Stobart have been clever in getting their livery costs covered by Sky and Heinz. But the message on the trucks, especially on the back (which everybody following will see) is very, very clearly about rugby league. Oh, and I think the great big bloke scoring a try down the side of the truck may also give the game away a little.
I rather like the reference to Friday nights. It suggests something for people to investigate. And the fact that three big names - Stobart, Heinz and Sky - are all associating themselves with this thing which takes place on a Friday night might make that thing worth a look.
All in all I think the whole deal is a good one, suits everybody's needs, and if Stobart decide to convert more trucks in the future - which the media people seem to think will be the case - then it will have an even bigger impact. Meanwhile, the RFL is free to explore other revenue streams without worrying their title sponsor.
