I don't know about one on Thurston but the tackle on Lockyer when he made a clean break for the line (with not an England defender in sight) was astounding. Best tackle of the match that, from either side. A prop dragging a six flat on his face. Sums up Jammer IMO.

If he can stay free of injuries I'm sure the Aussies will be talking about him in the same way that we do. He is an immense player and the best British prop I've seen (including Kevin Ward). He's just come off a game where we were dominated and yet he stacked up against the best their forwards could offer both with and without the ball. I predict he will win at least one front rower of the year award in the NRL.

That tackle was superb but I think the Morley one (or was it Peacock) who caught Thurston was better.

I have a feeling that Jammer's contribution will not be fully appreciated until we see Saints playing without him. Every week, even when some fans are on here saying Jammer had an average game, he is still pretty muh near top of the stats for tackles and yards. In my opinion the best prop we have ever had, but I know other disagree.

Massive massive loss for us. The lack of a out and out replacement has me very worried that we won't cope with the loss of jammer.

Jammer is irreplaceable. Of all the staff we have lost over the last five years, he is going to be our one true miss. We missed Cunningham's leadership sometimes last season but that's all. But with biscuit bones Perry, can't be ahsed Puletua and LMS as our props, none of whom can tackle like Jammer, be relentless like Jammer, fire up the team like Jammer or never be injured like Jammer, we are going to suffer up front.
