the five lads picked is for the England u 17's to play the Australian Institute of sport ,Ben Karalius is too old for that nothing do with who he plays for .
i see the move as a stepping stone for him the chance to play regular first team rugby and build a career for himself as jamie ellis did when he left saints for leigh and if im right hasn't he just signed for Hull after only one season with them
Ben is a quality young player seen him play a few times he has a massive future good luck to him

Good job he is still a Saints player then. As for Ellis, my understanding is he didn't leave for Rugby reasons.
