So here's a thought. If there are 3 in the tackle, then they have to have 3 square at the play of the ball. This would be difficult to achieve, taking 3 players out of the play. Teams may then avoid this tactic. Or is this a change too far.

Yeah I thought he was awful today.

He was determined to give them a try just before HT. Does anyone know what the flip all those pens were for?

Haha. What does that have to do with Wigan being penalised for holding down (the penalty stats clearly show we weren't btw, that's the answer I was looking for, good job shirking the question)?

How can it give you more time if it doesn't involve holding down longer? If they are not holding down longer, what is the point in putting extra people into making the tackle?

So Wigan are the only team in SL with 3 in the tackle?? Leeds, Saints and Wire only tackle in 1s and 2s!!
We lost today because Saints controlled the tackle far better than we did!

Won and still moaning about the ref! He gave decisions to both sides and was consistant in what he gave! He let the game flow and didnt want to be centre of attention.

All good teams get three into the tackle, Wigan are just better at peeling off than the others to make it look as if they aren't slowing the ptb down.
