Should imagine Royce will give Roby some extra minutes on the bench depending how the game develops.
We only need to win 1 more game, so Royce.s mindset might be to do it now with the strongest team available.......in other words Keep the Foot on the Gas.

And who do you suggest goes on the bench then from the 19 listed? A prop? Oh. We don't have any. A second rower? Well, it's likely we'll have two of Ashurst/Dixon/Hale on there. Who else?

Weve been here before.
We dont rest players because the coach wants momentum going into the playoffs.
We get into the final with players missing and being played busted.
We get beat.
Now lets think how we can break that cycle.
Not hard Is It? Unfortunatly I think Royce will play Roby he might even play just sixteen men again.

The players were all given four days off over last weekend. Fat lot of good it did them. Within the first ten minutes they had dropped the ball three times - senior players too and at least one on the way to the tryline.

Giving them time off is what does them no good. That and they thinik they've sorted it and so can't be bothered paying attention until the game has got away from them. It's peeing me off. Injuries or no injuries there was no excuse for our lack of ball control - gifting them opportunities - and lack of discipline - gifting them field position. And it was our senior players who were the worst offenders. Annoying because we could have beaten them had we concentrated.

This is boring me. Broken record syndrome. EVERY TEAM plays with only three forwards on the bench. But their fourth spot is taken up by a hooker. Ours is taken up with a back.

And Royce has said to the press that he sometimes gives James Roby extra time off during the week to compensate for his commitment within a game.

Playing Roby today was absolutely fecking stupid. Without Jammer, TP and Perry it was going to require a massive effort to win there give we very rarely win there with a full selection of players. And the reward for winning said match? Absolutely nothing. So now we've got Roby smashed to pieces again and we still lost. Tell me how we benefit from that?

I thought that your coaches treatment of Roby today bordered on the criminal. He is the best hooker in the country by a mile and obviously massively important to you but he wont be much use sat in the stand during the play offs because his body has packed up on him.
