Right what Tomkins won was:

Albert Goldthorpe Rookie of the year medal in 2009. (Didn't play in 2008)

And then the Albert Goldthorpe medal in 2010. (Not the same as the previous medal.)

And any young player awards he may have won of course.

What is the age limit for the young player?
Lee Mossop would be major contender if he is in the qualifying age range.

I am not sure if there is an age range, I think the criteria is the amount of games they have played prior to this season.

Just checked, if they have played 10 or fewer first team games this season they are eligible. Paul Johnson is 23 and he has been nominated.

That's why I was looking at Mossop and Lomax.

I think Sam won the rookie in 2009 and young player in 2010.

Thats for the Goldthorpe thing, which is just League Express' awards is it not.

For the main young player award do you not have to be 21 or under at the start of the season?

He was 22 in May, by my calculations. I would have thought that would make him too old.
