I agree with you though that he doesnt look big enough, but he certainly has the strength, weight and power behind him to trouble most other props in SL. As I've said on another thread, there is only TP and Perry in our squad who are heavier.

He does have the problem that it's all on paper, he maybe unlucky with injury but until he actually plays it's all theoretical.

Hope he is a gud un, because then our pack will go from looking good but lacking a prop, to being great.

I can see to starting at loose and being spelled with laffranchi, so we will always have a big player at 13. Means lms, perry, clough plus a n other cover the front row. Would give us a monster pack with a gaggle of second rowers fighting for 2 places. Makes flanagan signing seem a bit strange

That IMO is exactly Royces way of thinking, he's looking for laffranchi to play a prop/loose role. I like the idea and it's worked well with TP there and we've started with Graham and lms/perry as the old style loose forward is now almost extinct.

Much of how well this works is down to perry being fit and playing with the same form he did in the Nrl.

I think that will be our starting pack and bench next year. With having flannery, Moore and sia playing I think the is no need for having a back on the bench.

Royce says he likes a back on the bench so it don't disrupt the team by playing players out of position yet, makinson, meli, lomax, Moore all play out of position regular and next year we will have another in lance playing out of position. Players these days are multi skilled and cover positions all over the field so IMO Royce should drop the idea of back on the bench.

Stop with the premature dramatics boys and girls. Royston said today we will continue to sign another nine million children and then look at another player and that another forward is a possibility.

You forgot to mention that whether he does sign another forward depends on whether there is anything left under the cap.
