Bottom line is injuries happen,if we release players due to niggling injuries we will rapidly have A. no players left and B.players unwilling to sign for us.

I don't think it would be a problem finding another prop from the NRL to replace him but I think it would be pretty unfair of saints if we did try that.

Perry has come over to play and ain't the sort to come for a holiday or last big pay day but injuries are part and parcel of rugby.

If saints got shut of all the players that have had injury problems then flannery, Sia, Pryce, wheeler, clough, Gardner, lomax should all be released.

As I said, injuries are part of rugby and can't be helped.

Yeah I don't think Perry should be released at all, plenty of Aussies struggle in their first season.

On a brighter note Clough will play next week.

He's not struggling, he's just injured.

Noticed this myself, we seem to be doing an extra 5 mins this season and the warm up drills look more intense. Think we have had 3 players now pulling up in the warm ups. Could this be partly the reason we don,t start the game on the front foot and give teams 10+ start because we use too much energy warming up.

We have survived this season because Graham carries the rest of the pack. When we don't have that luxury next season and if we still have a team of sick notes we will be on serious trouble.
