[quote='Fishsta"']I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
[quote='Fishsta']You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
The guy's an idiot and can only be helped if he wants to be helped. If he is willing to help himself some (like Hock at Wigoon seems to be doing) then I think the club should offer him support, if not get shut.
We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.
I'm not a fan of drink driving, but neither am I a fan of bashing down doors. Surely Moore deserves the same as any of the Saints players who ave gotten into problems over the last few years.
I'm not into giving endless chances, but is this any different to Leon. I'm just happy that there were no pedestrians killed or injured. I've known situations like that end up much worse.
Scott just seems a bit daft to me. I'm speaking as someone who did stupid things in my youth e.g. DD.
When he plays for us, I think he offers a hooking style akin to KC's in his youth - size craft and above all mobility. He still has the makings of a great player for us IMO.

But isn't this the second time for Moore? I believe he was also arrested for the same offence in April.

Leon hasn't been in trouble since his court case a couple of years ago. If Scott has done what he is alleged to have done then he hasn't learned his lesson, as he got into trouble at Hudds for drinking. How often should a player be given chances when other players may be abiding by the rules? Drinking turns people into irresponsible and unreliable people. Already more pressure was placed upon the team on Sunday without him there.

Oh well that's alright then if he's only done what you did and it was only "a bit daft".
Personally I think it's a massive problem that people consider drink driving as being a bit daft and not very serious. You might look at it differently if you'd been affected by somebody else just being a bit daft and lost a family member.
Didn't Leeds fire Danny Ward for less than what's being alleged?
