Fairview windows. They did our upstairs a couple of years ago & were good so we got them back to do the downstairs last year.

Ensure you go with a FENSA registered company. The fensa website below is a really good guide and should ensure you go with a reputable company http://www.fensa.co.uk/ Ensure when getting various quotes, that salesmen are offering you comparable products. Some things to look for. Energy efficiency rating. "A" rating is best. "C" rating is now the legal minimum they can sell you. Legitimate firms should be able to show you their energy efficiency ratings on various types of Frames and windows. Ensure you clearly specify in writing what you require, so there is no chance of a misunderstanding occurring eg you think your getting A rated windows but the glass company understands you want the cheapest C grade windows. That makes a mockery of the registration! They are terrible. Who wants a front door letting the rain in through the letterbox? Or the wind in at both sides? Or condensation between the glazing layers? And who wants their phone line cut in the act of installation with a refusal to compensate for the cost of reconnection? And then who wants to be yelled at over the phone when these issues are raised? And no-one comes to fix them?

Homeshield, Haydock did my patio doors. Would use them again, good price, quick appointment to fit, came on time, tidy etc and good job.

Would agree with the above when they fitted windows and patio at my mums.
All high spec stuff as well, with 10 year FENSA backed Guarantee.
