Genuinely world class player who has put his body on the line in every single game he has played for saints. Has earned the right to play down under and will hopefully return to cement his place as an all time great saints player. Totally different situation from the $eastmoney situation as can be seen from these first few comments.
JG is a player who gives 100% all the time and genuinely cares and this will be clearly reflected in how the fans will view his departure. This is player testing himself (yes he is getting well paid for it) and good luck to him.

I very much doubt we'll be able to replace Graham with a player of similar attributes.
There's too much money in the NRL. SL clubs cannot compete. Most likely we'll be forced to spend on second tier NRL talent.
Good luck to Graham. But this (and the loss of our other marquee name - Eastmond) hardly speaks volumes for the stature of the club - especially moving to a new stadium - or SL in general.
