Are your lungs in your shoulders then? Wheeler has an AC injury. That suggests he was hit in the shoulder, not the chest (which is where you would need to have been hit to experience being winded). Hoffman also hit him with force, that is clear to see from the footage.

I think Wilkin might get a shot at the halves on Monday as Kyle has a chest infection and is not fit. Our back up halfbacks in the u20s are also injured so far as I recall, so we have no one else to call upon. Unless Roby takes on the role. Who knows! I don't envy Royce his job this weekend at all. He must be in deep discussion with the youth coaches to see who could fit in the best on the last minute.

you've never played, the hit in the shoulder doesnt hurt, its hitting the ground that winds you! It wasnt a very hard tackle at all, how he broke a bone from the is either extremely bad luck or he must have the skeleton of a 90 yr old

I think wilkin is average. He's a workhorse now when he has all the skills to be top class super league player.

It looked like the way he hit the ground not the impact off Hoffman.

I've played competitive team sports and I've hit the ground hard and yes, I have been winded. But I'm not winded by being hit in the shoulder, which is where Wheeler was hit from what I saw, but by being hit in the chest - either the back or the front - because that is where the lungs are, in case you've forgotten your biology!

I'm no doctor or sports scientist so whats an AC injury? looked like he'd done his collar bone to me

The fact it was AC injury suggests it's the way he fell which prob jarred is shoulder.
