Who is Mackinson? Is he a serious chance for the first team or another weak Tesco Value biscuit like Wheeler/Lomax etc? Where is the boy Armstrong? Has he left us now?

This game would have been perfect for me to build my campaign to rid Saints of a painfully slow fullback. However with Jammer and Leon also missing it will most likely lead to calls for Wello to return.

Tom Armstrong is on a dual registration with Leigh - so assume he's playing for them this weekend.

Wello hasn't yet been ruled out which is why he's been named in the 19 man squad.

Centre. Played for England Under-Whatevers. Scored a lot of tries last year for the reserves.

Hope Salford come out a lot better than at the weekend. It was like watching St Helens last year Only messing. They really were slow
