Any team would struggle with both halfbacks missing.

We also have shenton next year who will add pace to our backline.

Saints have been hampered for most of the season by the injuries in the halves. IMO Wilkin's a reasonable 2nd row but he's no halfback.

Chin up guys, you've a new coach coming, new blood signing and some cracking prospects coming through the ranks.

Big difference is we never put Newton up on a pedestal and laid claim to him being this "amazing" player many of your fans believe Cunningham to have been. We also don't resort to childish abusive insults when someone posts something we don't agree with.

I don't agree with chief scouts comment about newton but to say the wigan board don't become abusive if they don't like what someone wrote is a joke.

Nearly every time anyone posts on the wigan board is followed with abuse.
