Agreed. Hargreaves is a useful stand in, but he seems to bottle it before reaching the defensive line, probably because he isn't powerful enough. I hope he proves me wrong because he has a great attitude.

I thought Maurie had his best game in a while, the stint towards the end of the game saw him going back to his aggresive style of running without losing his temper at the play the ball.

After Wigan v Huddersfield academy game 3 years ago I told the Wigan chief scout to lock Michael Lawrence in the dressing room and don't let him out until he signed for Wigan.

The young lad was that good in a well beaten team.

he went in for a Ben Westwood style tackle on Sean Long and ended up getting smashed by Martin Aspinwall. oh well.
