Or Saints offer was really good?

Fair play to the lad, and Saints. He's done really well especially this season. He must surely get his chance for England later in the year if his form holds.

He's pretty much the best prop in the comp, but still a bit raw at times. Perhaps he only got offers as a project.
I would have thought there's a minimum fee release clause for NRL clubs, which will at least protect us financially.

It's very easy to forget that he's only 25, and a good 3/4 years away from his "peak" - seeing how much he's matured in his short time makes me wonder how good he can get!

It's even more impressive when you consider he wasn't even involved with a professional club until he was around the age of 22. This is fantastic news - he's certainly one of our players who would be most likely to be poached.

Imo the is no better prop in super league this year. He's really upped his game this year and much fitter

It's a good job the club tied him up before any international call up. If he plays and plays well for the national team you can bet the Australians will be falling over each other trying to get him. Especially after Graham and the Burgesses.
