He's just playing on the local rivalry, i probably wanted Wire as they'd be marginly easier to beat, but beating Wigan in the grand Final would be the best feeling!

He creates this thing of us and them. He wants his players to think like fans and hate saints. It's his style of getting his team up for it and it works for them.

I hope our next coach allows us to be more aggressive like them

why does every one get their knickers in a twist, or take things personally when Wane says something that all us fans already think?

I am always shocked at how the fans of the most brutal sport in the world, get so upset about some light hearted wordplay.

waynes got a big gob and sometimes he's a disgrace to our game with his childish outbursts..call the team by all means behind closed doors..but in front of the cameras a bit of respect wouldn't go amiss by him..same as that other plonker phil clarke ..he shouldn't be allowed to commentate on sky when his beloved wigan are playing...in fact when wigan aint playing he always has to bring them in and use them as an example...paul cullen or john kear should be along eddie when wigan are on.... not that bias knowall clarke!.....

The reason Wigoon are universally hated begins with A - Arrogance , of the fans and historically the leadership i.e Maurice, Whelan and now Ape. You were hated when you were just a rubbish team playing in a rented stadium, not much to envy really.
