Here's hoping. I've never taken to Brown. He's proven he cannot truly motivate the players time and time again and his heart has never really been in Super League, let alone Saints. I think a move to the NRL would be best for both parties.

It's ironic that if true, he would replace another great favourite on here Mick Potter.

I'd guess Daryl Powell would become the instant favourites at the bookies if Brown did leave.

If you got him that would worry me as a Wigan fan. He seems an excellent motivator.

If he goes he goes, tbh he is miles better than Potter so I can see why they'd want the upgrade. Not exactly a secret that he's wanted to go back for a while. If he does go I'd go for Daryl Powell, he must be frustrated at Cas losing key players and he would be a great long term option for us.

I think Brown has built well. I think he's been the best coach by miles since DA.

The problem we have is to many players have a poor lazy attitude and unlike football, we can't just ship them out and replace them.

I doubt any coach couid motivate this lot every week.

I don't get the constant Brown baiting either. He has got us to the top of the table with a squad that is pretty decimated in terms of creativity. If we had Walsh lomax and Wilkin fit I would be confident that we could have a good run at the GF, but given what he currently has to work with, going into the last game with a shot of finishing top of the league is pretty good. The moany bunch on here must be a right bundle of laughs to live with, talk about glass half empty, you really need to get a grip on reality.

I'm not really a brown basher, even though our ridiculous inconsistency frustrates me as much as any one, but I don't really see why he's going to get an NRL job offer. He looked the bees' knees for a short period when he transformed the Giants, but he's been at a big club for two years and hasn't won anything yet. even if we get the LLS this Friday, its still kinda the booby prize. He hasn't come close to winning a GF or CC for us yet.

If he's under contract next year to Saints, will your Chairman allow Brown to leave if Wests coming calling?
Or leave for a fee?
