Is Lewis Charnock a good kicker (field and goal)? If so, we will need him to play because Leeds' defence is the best in the comp so far and it might be the case that the only way we will cross their line is via kicks. While Hohaia can kick, he's not the best at it. Also I'm not sure that Wheeler and Hohaia would complement each other. Isn't Charnock a 7? Big call for him to play but putting halves on their debut against Leeds has worked for us in the past!

I think Charnock can kick but I don't know how well. Also, I think he's a 6 rather than a 7.

My guess would be something along the lines of the following at this point, though it's hard to choose:
1. Jonny Lomax 2. Tommy Makinson 26. Matty Dawson 22. Mark Percival 5. Adam Swift
24. Gary Wheeler 6. Lance Hohaia
14. Anthony Laffranchi 9. James Roby 27. Greg Richards 15. Mark Flanagan 23. Joe Greenwood 4. Josh Jones
8. Mose Masoe 11. Sia Soliola 17. Paul Wellens 25. Ant Walker
Lewis Charnock and Andre Savelio to miss out.
Lewis Charnock is playing by all accounts.
However I have just got round to reading League Weekly from Monday. Comments from Brown re. our Academy lads stepping in for Walsh -
"There are none that are quite ready. There are one or two kids in the under 19s that are developing but they are too young for the top team at the moment."
Hardly fills you with confidence seeing as Charnock is playing on Friday.
