Manu 6 tackle busts mention to Mose 71 mtrs from just 7 carries, so over 10mtr per carry and the not so good. 30 missed tackles!! Leeds will destroy us if we do that!

Not to sound like a broken record, but these stats, combined with Greenwood's apparently impressive contribution with the ball in hand go a way to vindicating some posters opinions about these guys being left out for an inferior player.

Is this becoming like he who must not be named?

Decent stats all round, good to see Mose on the rise, was concerned half way through yesterday, but seems to have pulled it back. Missed tackles a concern (especially given our low overall tackle count) but I'm not too concerned, it's been one of our best features over the course of the season so far.

It is valid to say they have put their hands up and asked the question in terms of future selection. That is how it should be when young players come in and put pressure on senior players and make it difficult for them to be left out. That's how it used to be at Saints. Wello sat Atcheson in the stands, robes did it to higham, graham to fozzard and Bennett to Vinny Anderson. But there should be a logical progression to being picked and that is the performances must come first. Walker , Greenwood and co have been patchy in their contributions so far some good stuff but some pretty average stuff. A lot of that I think is down to the step up from u19 to SL . The gap is too great. All of these lads have just done some hard stints at Rochdale playing against men not boys and they looked better for it. What I don't agree with is just handing a shirt to someone who is playing well in the u19s. Charnock gets mentioned a lot and I believe he is a good player as is Hewitt but are they ready yet. Open age rugby and age grade rugby are vastly different we need to recognise that. Now that these young forwards have produced a good performance lets see them back it up against Leeds and we can make an accurate judgement as to their progress. It is looking really positive so let's hope they continue in that vein

I know, but the majority of Wire's ae spilt equally between Higham and Monaghan (Monaghan actually has one more), so your theory may have a slight hole in it.

Wakefields last try was another dive over from the play off the ball / or quick tap

We need to get wise or wake up near our line as the last 3 matches someone has scored like this against us?

It's been happening since the start of the season. I'd imagine we've been drilled to have good line speed in defence but sometimes the markers forget about the immediate threat.
