What they are saying as the referee said and indicated (easily viewable on boots'n'all) that it was not deliberate and came off the shoulder. That's why it was regarded as reckless rather than intentional.

To be fair, nearly all the wigan fans have said it was out of order and slated him for it and his other actions. General theme is he'd be good if he didnt do this sort of thing.

With Mickey Mac's history its always better to say Guilty until proved Innocent whether reckless, intentional and otherwise. Everything he does is always "neck high" to cast doubt on his motives.

I'm sorry, but for all the Wigan apologists - that is a shocker. The immediate reaction of the Cas players tells you all you need to know.

The lad is a dirty, dirty player without question and it was only a matter of time before he broke someone's face, Dixon is just unlucky to have been the inevitable victim.

And the sickening thing is he only gets 3 matches He should be banned for the amount of time Dixon is out for
