Great news for the club, both potentially brilliant players.

What makes it even better is that on the day we sign up two of the best young British players in the game to 4 and 5 year deals, Wigan sign a fat 33 year old Salford reject. Fantastic.

Oi cheeky.

Always good news when we sign up young English players. Where is Swift going to play long term? Are we convinced by him as a winger? Not that he doesn't play well there, but he doesn't look a natural winger. Could he not be our missing 6? Centre maybe when he's a bit older?

I would have potentially waited a while on Walmsley to see how he started this season. He went on a rapid rise last season, growing very quickly into a tremendous player, but then crashed a little towards the end as he suffered physically.
