Great game on Friday. Thought the 2 lads played very well and Meli maturing as a centre. TP never stopped working. Pleased to have them at Salford in 2014 What happens to Howarth? Does he come back to Salford?

Howarth's on loan as you know.
Depends on his contract, if he's contracted at Salford for 2014 he returns.
If he's Out of Contract end of 2013 then who knows.

I think TP is leaving at the right time. Meli is the departure that is really disappointing.

Wish them both the best of luck, they have both been great servants at this club.

Meli is going to leave an enormous hole in our backs. We're not even attempting to replace him apparently, which is strange when you look how good Jones is doing in the second row. Percival is going to be under a bit of pressure next season. If he fails, it'll leave us in another awkward situation like we were in when we realised we had no halfbacks.

I think jones will go to centre to replace the strength of Meli , Percival is great but needs another year of gentle introduction and to bulk up first

I've always been a big TP fan, but I think he looks like a bit of a spent force these days.

We'll miss Meli enormously. One more year for us to allow Percy to develop would have been perfect.

Yeah he is. Who else in the backs will we have to consistently give stupid penalties away when we get ourselves into good field position in key games? Or to provide gormless expressions to the ref when 15000 other people in the ground can see he did it will also be sorely missed. LMS does that very well in the forwards but Meli's utter stupidity and countless errors will be irreplaceable in our backline.

I accept he's been 'better' with ball in hand and centre is probably his best spot but during his tenure at Saints he's just made too many stupid, unprofessional cock ups that spoil his game for me. Opposition coaches haven't targeted him year on year for nothing.
