Saints have done well to engineer a 5th place spot. It's not impossible, but it's unlikely leeds will be able to lose enough of their remaining games to get the coveted 5th spot.

It seems saints good early season form, including losses to the likes of huddersfield and leeds has been instrumental in this.

With 5th place, saints will notice a big difference in the playoffs. The benefit of an easier run, playing more favourable teams and a route straight through to old trafford with some nice momentum building wins for the big day itself.

Can saints win the grand final?

If they can hang onto 5th place, and leeds don't hit a rich vein of losing form, they'll be some squeaky bums from over 't' hill.

It all feels very familiar to what Leeds have done the last two seasons. Been abysmal all season and then start to play some good rugby as the regular season comes to an end.

I remember thinking Leeds have no chance last season. I feel the same about our chances.

It'll be an interesting bet to put on, as I'm sure bookies will be generous with their odds for us.

I saw 14/1 today. Someone else managed to find 16/1.

At each way Saints just need to make the final to get a few bucks.

I say just!!!

Don't get me wrong it's a tough ask with no Roby, but a bit of belief hurt no one.

Roby and Sia will both be back for the playoffs.
