Not exactly, if we did have go forward and made the 40m line and put a deep kick in, the other team will be starting from their 20m.
Our go forward has absolutely nothing to do with missed tackles. They are two totally separate things.
I play stand off and I kick and I certainly wouldn't like to be kicking on last tackle from in my own 20m line as its a very very tough kick to make. Its a hoof and hope type kick which makes the kicker look bad.
My point is, we could have Thurston and benji Marshall in our halves and we wouldn't do much better because even those world class superstars couldn't do anything from in their own 20m zone.
