I think most of us would say we'd be happy with him playing alongside Wheeler (or Swift when he's injured), who are both good runners. The problem with that is if Walsh gets injured, we're screwed back to where we are now (unless Yates comes up with something, but it would still be leaving us with a very inexperienced pairing).
I'm afraid we need a signing for 6, even if its someone like Briers for a year to oversee the younsters coming through.
