For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

Half way there. : Wed May 08, 2013 7:42 pm
Half way through the season and the once mighty Saints are languishing in eighth place with no sign of improvement on the horizon. Could this year be the nadir for the Saints with no play off place or will there be a resurgence. To be honest I do not see where the next win will be as the general play gets worse week by week. I fully expect better things with a fit squad but will it be too late. It is time for Brown to stop the tinkering and start coaching as he has had long enough to know what his squad is capable of.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Half way there. : Wed May 08, 2013 7:45 pm
For the last season and a half, we have mostly talked about changes, regardless of where we are in the league.

Maybe it's time to concentrate on the positives and let Brown weed out the negatives over the off season.

I don't agree with the last bit. In most cases, he has had to tinker due to injury/poor performance. There has been one or two selections that I didn't agree with or understand but in the main, he's been very unlucky.

Hopefully the poor performance this season will show the board a little harsh reality. Whilst I still believe the board just don't care about winning and were happy to coast along as we papered over the cracks, there is also the nagging doubt that McManus actually believes the stuff he writes in the programme notes.

If he does genuinely believe the club is still capable, hopefully this season will serve as a much needed wake up call.

Well, all the seniors are on a five day break at the moment so clearly there is nothing at all wrong with their performances and we're all doing just fine!

Well I pay my money and always will. So far so not too good. I feel Brown needs time and by that I mean the length of his contract. Bright spots these kids Percy Thompson and Greenwood actually look the real deal. Dark spots we have a fantastic Chairman who is a fantastic fan but the board have let themselves down in a big way with three key overseas players, who are looking more and more like a burden on the club and are encouraging others to join them TP LMS and I don't think we have a quick answer. However please remember we have a stadium with facilities that we can generate income for the long term and since 1996 count the finals count the top two finishes and lets get behind the team and see if we can enjoy the second part of the season, Wigan had worse and the support seemed a touch more solid than our websites seem to show, especially the other one

Sorry, haven't they been on a 10 week break or did I miss something?

I do feel I've got to speak up for TP.

He's in a different league to the other Senior Props. It cannot be ignored things outside Rugby can have an effect. He has given us some good years as a Saints player and even this season he has shown glimpses of his monstrous strength and ability.

I think he was always going to go home at the end of this year, we where lucky he decided to stay at his last contract negotiations, no one can predict factors outside of RL.

I agree with that, he's been a great player for us. He gets some stick for being lazy but the metres and moments of skill he brings are invaluable in a pack that's not brilliant in general.
