It's a bit worrying for me that we haven't signed this lad up yet. He is showing up well in SL , looking more dangerous with ball in hand than players with far more experience and he is that rare thing in the game a true natural centre (not some converted oaf of a secondrow).

NRL scouts are sniffing everywhere for talent as are RU scouts not to mention our friends over the lump and beyond in SL. We have a real talent and we need to secure it, with the tampering deadline passed are we in danger of seeing another Eastmond situation? This lads contract and some of the other top young talents should be joint top priority along with trying to sign a scrum half.

Come on Saints pull your bloody fingers out before we lose more top talent !!!! (waiting for the 'exciting news' that Wello or Laffranchi has signed a new deal any minute )

He's the best centre at the club at the moment. Nathan Brown thinks very highly of him. I wouldn't be surprised if talks are already at a advanced stage.

Doesn't look good. Unless his form in the first team has caught the club off guard, it's worrying that a new deal for him hasn't been announced and we're now beyond the anti-tampering deadline I believe.

But how long do you give him? He looks the part, but he's weak defensively and very small, too small to play centre in really big games at the moment IMO.

He's played in big games already and didn't look out of place to be fair.

I don't think Percival is out of place defensively, he's played big games against big centres and come out of it well.

If we somehow let him go, it's an absolute shambles! Can't see us letting him leave though.

No he hasn't. By big games, I mean do or die play off games, not these lethargic rounds of going through the motions we're in now.

I'm not sure why we expect youth players in their first few seasons to be superb defensively.
