Wants out of Cas. Maybe to the NRL, although I find it hard to see that happening. Cas announced today they wouldn't stand in his way. He doesn't count on the quota.

He won't get a visa for another UK club (which is ridiculous when you consider he's the England SH). So France or the NRL seem the only possible options, and with Jamie Soward siging for Penrith I'd put my house on him becoming a St George player very soon.

Sure someone on here said last week that the visa wasn't the problem, it was the fact that Hull couldn't get it through before the deadline for registering players.

It is redundant anyway since he's more than likely going to head off to Australia.

I thought his deal with St George had been agreed. But I also thought he said he was very happy here, with an English partner and feeling very settled in England.

We should at least try.

the visa issue was the problem! we were even trying to sign him in the off season but eventually had to draw a line under the saga as there was no chance of getting him a visa to play fo fc!

According to the Australian press St George are looking to pair up Chase and Widdop.

So they are thinking Widdop would give up playing alongside Cooper Cronk so he can have Chase as his number 7.
