Hi

Can anyone recommend a decent pub (ie one with decent beer) within walking distance of the ground ? Is there a pub I can park at ?
It's my first visit to your new ground on Friday.

Theres the usual wetherspoons that have some decent ales on but have no bar staff so you eventually give up.
Theyre both less than ten mins walk. The best real ale pub Is the Turks Head but thats not In walking distance really.
Im sure some of the others will have other recomendations.

Have a pint of Saints Gold at the bar at the front of stadium inside bars to? - nice pint

Surprised someone connected with The George, in George Street has not been on recommending that gaff for pare-match sherbet or two.

Best to park at the multi-storey really as I think people get tetchy about speccies parking in their places on match night. It's only a quid to park at the multi-storey and the walk to the stadium from there is under 10 minutes for an able bodied person. The Glass House (Wetherspoon mentioned earlier) is opposite the multi-storey and a lot of fans (home and visiting) go there before the match. There is the Red Vee bar at the stadium (not in the stadium) which sells Saints Gold that is supposed to be a good beer based on comments I've heard from those who drink it! (Don't drink beer myself so couldn't give a personal opinion)

Thanks for the help folks. Looks like I will either do 'spoons or Phoenix (depnding on which one I find first).

You may want to buy me a pint - I have NEVER seen us win at Saints, having missed the few victories since 1976 when I started watching Hull. I have seen a few wallopings at Knowsley Road in that time !!
