poor attendances : Tue Sep 25, 2012 11:33 am
The RLF and Sky seem mystified why playoff games are poorly attended. Well in my opinion the main reason is the powers that be have no idea about the real world, let alone the normal working man. Can they really not see why games are so poorly attended.
Well let me enlighten you, there’s a recession on and people do not have bottomless pockets, we just can’t afford to be paying for games that mean NOTHING.
And Just for the record, listed below are a few more Extras that RFL expect us to pay out for .
1. A season ticket ,
2. Challenge cup games. (tickets and transport)
3. Magic Weekend (tickets, transport, accommodation and food)
4. Exile games (ticket, transport and food)
5. Challenge Cup Final (tickets, transport, accommodation and food)
6. Play Off Games (tickets)
7. Grand Final. (ticket, transport and food)
8. International Games (tickets and transport)
Also at our club seasons tickets have to be purchased or renewed before the end of October
The Challenge Cup Final is another prime example of the RFL being out of touch with reality. To move it from May to August when,
1 95% of people have just returned from holiday.
2 It’s a month before the Grand Final.
So stop taking supporters for a ride. Come down from your ivory tower and get a grip.
