Aside from a ten minute spell they never really looked like losing. Pretty even in the forwards. Perhaps Saints even edged it. But the gulf in class between Wigan's backs and ours was enormous.

I've no complaints other then I thought bentham crucified us early which took the wind out of us but on a whole I thought Wigan was better in every department.

Finch and lulu was top class for the pies. Finch IMO was the best player on the pitch by a mile, his organisation skills is top notch and he's very very clever.

Can't argue with that. Bentham stank the place out - but he was bad for both sides. Thought Makinson played well. Trouble is he's just not big enough yet. He needs another 12 to 18 months in order to fill out.

The only complaint I have and it was the difference between the two sides was the inept reffing of Bentham. We were not at our best but the ref ruined the game. Two crucial tries for Wigan came off the back of wrong decisions. Other than that there was no difference between us plus Hock who should have been in the bin.

I disagree. We allowed Wigan to score two tries because we became distracted by the wrong decisions instead of reacting positively regardless of the decisions. That has been a pattern this season whereas last season we were much more positive when decisions went against us.

Bentham was shocking! In not site what the penalty count was but imvsure it will have been evened out.

I thought he crucified us in the first 20 mins which took the wind out if us and stopped us starting how we have been.

That's not a excuse tho as Wigan was far better than us.

Their kicking game in that wind was one of the things that was vastly different, ours was shocking at times. That was the second biggest difference, the first being 1, 6 and 7 actually moving the team around and being capable of making the right decisions.

All sounds very familiar to about a month ago.....

Seams like some where waiting for this loss, just so they can say, hey Royce was not the issue. Only an unbeaten run all season would have prevented some people comparing any loss to royce being not a problem.
