The 'back on the bench' opposition will be quiet today.
Always said the back on the bench is not an issue if used tactically, but dogmatic use and playing with 16 for 75 mins was detremental.
As it was I would not have put a back on the bench today, with the loss of La Frank. Hindsight is of no use. I did not hear anyone in the run up to the game suggesting a back on the bench in their line ups. So calling for it now is a bit late IMHO.
Also it's one game, just like we can't read form from 2 games, you can read even less form from 1 game.
Lets see how the next 4 games turn out hey. We have 4 games before Wigan again, if we play like we did under Royce and how we did today in the next 4 games then we can say nothing changed, however if we play like we did in the last 2 games, then maybe the new coaching set up have changed us for the better.
