I remember about 3 or 4 years ago when we played Wire at the Halliwell Jones, Gareth Carvell took the ball and ran about 30 metres with it and crossed the line. I think he knocked on or something, and the try went to the screen - it was a clear no try, but I remember Eddie and Stevo saying he should be rewarded the try regardless of the mistake because he'd done wonderfully for a prop forward. A ridiculous suggestion, I know.In the same vain, could the RFL please just award Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook an honourary four points after his herculian effort yesterday. He scored a try last season (against Wakefield, I think?) where he ran about 40 metres - but this was 80 metres plus. He's probably still gasping for air now!
