None of the injured trio Paul Wellens, Michael Shenton or Tony Puletua will return to action just yet as they have not been named in this weeks squad. The squad is very similar to the 20 man squad named by Royce Simmons for the 42-24 victory over Widnes in the Karalius Cup in January; only Shaun Magennis has dropped out. I'm not sure what our best team is yet, but I reckon Royce may go with this (judging by his comments re. squad rotation and the likes of Perry and Flannery needing games early doors):

This is what I think he will go with, possibly Perry starting instead of LMS. A good team but the more I look at it, the more I think the starting pack looks very small. Laffranchi and LMS are probably second rowers by size so we could do with keeping Perry fit this year. Soliola adds beef from the back row but for all their positives Flanagan, Flannery and Wilkin aren't the types who can add grunt when we are stuck in our 20. I'd also like to see Clough kick on as he has a lot of potential.

I know the numbers are wrong but I could not be arsed retyping.
It seams insane not to have an international FB at FB. It's the squad I would pick, it also makes our good pack very strong. We don't need a back on the bench as any back that goes down there is another replacement already on the pitch and it only takes dixon or flannery to move to centre.

From last year I doubt it will happen, an your picks with backs on the bench and no kicker on the field is probably the likely outcome, but if it is then I am not confident that we will push on as a team to challenge and take a final.
