The wreckage from the derailed picture thread : Thu Nov 24, 2011 11:24 pm
As the Stadium Site Pictures thread has ceased being a picture thread and developed into a bore-fest, I've split the topic in two. Below are the posts that followed after the last picture to be posted. You can continue your 'debate' here.

For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

I think it was you who took a picture of a small hole in the roof just after it had been completed. I wonder if this was the same place? It's very probable that the roofers did a poor job, not securing the sections properly. I would imagine now there is going to have to be a wholesale inspection of the roof before anybody will be allowed in there. I wonder if the responsibility for repairs is Langtree's, as the developers who subcontracted the work, or Saints?

McMannuss shareholders meeting address, that's if he bothers to have one this year
"Well we've had to borrow another £6 million to finish the house of straw, (but we got a good rate which I won't disclose  )
It got a bit windy and blew the roof off and we can't get a safety certificate, but it's all ours.

We owe the tax man money because we cheated (again) re image rights contracts (more money we need to borrow)"

"Any questions"

Meeting over. :thumb:

The roof work was done by one of our two new world cup winners, so we sent him home so that nobody would know who he was.
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.

Who cares, he's just a bitter jealous old buffoon whose opinions count for nothing. He's a nobody trying to make himself sound knoweldgeable because he goes to kids games. His "knowledge" has time and time again proved to be absolutely worthless, and he's best ignored.

On a brighter note, I am really looking forward to visiting your new ground. Looks like they've done a good job. Prepare for the Brigantes invasion at easter.

That was in the north east corner and they fixed that.

They should have been. This has to be shoddy workmanship.
