Strangely worded article. Maybe it's just poorly written, but it seems to suggest the money is to enable a current RL coach to have a crack at a Union career.

Not sure why you've posted it here really when it's on the Wigan forum and the VT.

I don't use the VT that often and hadn't seen it.

I just thought it was a very good gesture from Edwards, he still has a great love and respect for Rugby League. I saw him at Ince Rose Bridge last year watching a couple of junior games.

It is indeed. Provided it's going to be used to coach a league coach to coach league if you get my meaning.

What is Edwards doing at the moment? Has he found work again now?

Signed a new deal with WRU last i heard, left Wasps though so i wonder if he'll go back to another club in RU.

Hopefully the RFL have learned from previous mistakes and have a covenant attached to the bursary.

Isn't this old news, I am sure I read about this a week or two ago?

The least he could do.

Bleeds the RFL for cash to learn the coaching ropes, then jumps to the dark side at the first opportunity to put his RFL paid for training into practice.
