Although this is not the real thread topic (just one Rogues has yet again managed to turn into a dig at Saints) If I were going to outlaw anything it would be the wrestling match Wigan turn pretty much every match they play into. Gang tackles and very very slow ptb's = dull. I'd also look more closely at attacker clamping defenders arms in the tackle to con penalties out of referee's. Following the aussie track (again) of 2 refs would p!$$ on Wigan's bonfire.
I wasn't having a go at Saints at all, I've been having a go at the persistent dummy half running for years. That along with players not playing the ball with their foot and kicking the ball dead from distance just to allow a team to get their defensive line set.
On the scooting issue, I don't see anything wrong with a scoot and pass, or a try from dummy half (I always blame the defence for that one)
On the clamping of a players arm, Sam Tomkins must be the strongest man in Rugby League if he can clamp and hold a prop forwards arm and still keep hold of the ball.
