The gang tackling and laying on is ridiculous. They can take as long as they like and he would rather read a book than penalise them.

Why if the rfl won't employ proper referees aren't we copying them and refusing to move off the tackled player? It's allowing them complete control of the game. Naivity in the coaching and players.

As a transitory Saints fan, the biggest issue has been around the PTB when Wigan have the ball - they make 2-3 metres by jogging off the mark.

Not that I'm that worried - Saints have got away with that for years.

No sour grapes at all. Wigan clearly deserve it, it's more a question about why we don't attempt to copy them?

best team won.. 3 teams left for gf hudds wigan and wire..on that performance you`ll be lucky to get in the top 4...hull kr will be licking their lips at a one off game at your rented dump in the cc

Saints would still have beaten most teams in the league if they played like that against anyone else.

Though that says more about the rest of the league...

Gang tackling is legal, and you can lay on until the ref calls it held. Dominant tacklers are alllowed more time to peel off.
Grasping at this straw just smacks of excuses. If you completed your sets and didn't drop the ball, it would have been a lot closer.

So after you got beat by Salford I am guessing that Wigan will be licking their lips for your matches in the future? Or does losing one game and not being able to bounce back not apply to Wire?
