Not as bad a squad as was feared for the game. Wellens is out missing though from his ankle injury.

St Helens injuries now stands at: 1. Paul Wellens, 6. Leon Pryce, 7. Kyle Eastmond, 8. Josh Perry, 13. Chris Flannery, 16. Paul Clough, 25. Lee Gaskell, 26. Carl Forster, 27. Nathan Ashe

With Castleford having 3. Nick Youngquest and 17. Willie Isa out.

With Ashurst starting, Dixon and Magennis on the bench with Moore and Armstrong it would suggest that Magennis will be used as a prop along with Puletua after being spelled. Tom Armstrong is the token outside back with Tommy Makinson making his full debut for St Helens.

Fair enough, I try not to be biased, just thought they weren't playing rather than injured from the squad news.
