There is a thread on their board about him going over there on loan for the rest of his time in Rugby League. Any truth in this?

If it were true could it be we're clearing the decks for a new signing to come on board early or am I just being wildly optimistic as usual?

Think its just unsubstantiated rumour from the fact we are supposed to be signing a player who will excite the fans and raise a few eyebrows. 2 and 2 have been put together and maybe the answer isn't 4.

TBH I can't see you letting him go with the injuries you have if his head was still right. That being the case I think we would be wrong to sign him, even though he clearly would be the best half back at the club in the unlikely event we did.

On the flip side, if his head isn't right and he's still a disruptive influence, Saints would want to get shut.

Unlikely, because the whole situation appears to have died down slightly, but we'll see.

Absolutely right. If you decided you weren't gonna play him and could get him off your wage bill and on to ours it would be a great deal for you.

I hope it is just a rumour and proves to be nothing more than that - if he can't be bothered for the club that created him, there's nothing to suggest he'd be any different for us. With respect, if he's going to pinch money off anyone for the rest of the season, I'd rather it were Saints than Wakey.

I'd rather it be with Rugby Union to be honest, but I understand your sentiments.

I was on bus home from cas to normy friday after game which was full of wakey fans. They were all saying luke robinson was going to them as he has watched there last 2 games.

So dont think much of it haha.
