catalan beating wigan on their own ground the biggest shock of the season so far.

not one mention of it on the COVER of rugby league express...
i'd have expected warriors humiliated..etc..etc...has wigan got shares in this newspaper then?...

Quins had won 3 from 4 (the loss coming narrowly to a strong Huddersfield) when they beat Saints and were above Saints when the game was played.

They were also unbeaten when they played Leeds.

Catalans were below Wigan when that game was played and neither Saints nor Leeds were being trumpeted as unbeatable at the start of the year - quite the opposite in fact.

So yes, I'd say it was bigger shock.

I think Catalan are a far better team than Quins, and will finish in the play off places.

We got beat by Quins, you got hammered by Catalans. It was a far bigger shock.

You got beat by 11 to Quins, we got beat by 19 to Catalans. Both Quins and Catalans are now on 8 points in the league. I'm not sure how you decided one is getting "hammered" and the other just "beat". Two similar teams, two similar score differences.

I'd say conceding 47pts at home was indicative of a hammering, despite your late rally which made the scoreline closer than possibly what Wigan deserved.
