Wellens 9 - led from the front. Linked up well in attack, was excellent in defence.
Gardner 6 - solid
Shenton 6 - massively out of position for one of the tries but did well for own try.
Meli 9 - brilliant both attack and defence.
Foster 9 - looks dangerous, scores tries and kicks goals for fun. Should keep his place.
Gaskell 8 - kicked well, attacked the line, never stops trying
Lomax 10 - immense. Massive step up from eastmonds performances.
Graham 7 - never stopped running
Roby 8 - loads of work, tackles and yards as usual.
Perry 7 - didn't look like he has only just come back from a serious injury.
Clough 6 - solid as usual until his injury.
Flannery 6 - again solid.
Puletua 7 - made loads of yards. Did a lot of work in defence.

Wheeler - didnt play long enough.
Moore 9 - brilliant. Thought he worked well with lomax and Gaskell as an experienced head.
Ashurst 7 - didn't look out of place.
Magennis 6 - couple of mistakes but otherwise did well.

Wello - 9/10 I thought he was solid as a rock. Took some great kicks and also great defence. He just keeps on going!

Gardner - 6/10 run hard but dropped the ball that leeds scored a try from.

Shenton - 7/10 took his try well and was solid but lacked any good ball.

Meli- 8/10 played very well and always threat near Leeds line.

Foster - 8/10 took his 2nd try very well and kicking was awesome!

Gaskell - 7/10 attacked the line and some good kicks

Lomax - 9/10 man of the match and showed he can be our answer to scrumhalf problem.

Perry - 7/10 worked really hard in his short spells. Looks unfit after long time out but will be top class signing for us.

Roby - 7/10 worked hard as always

Graham - 7/10 worked hard and always willing to take the ball up. Still little bit off from his best.

Cough - 7/10 Good to see cloudy back to his best until his injury

Flannery 6/10 little quite when he should have been more involved for senior player

Tony p - 7/10 couple of good runs and always threat with the ball.

Moore - 7/10 worked hard and added some aggression

Magennis - 6/10 solid

Ashurst - 6/10 solid enough but very quite

Wheeler - didn't play enough mins

Not sure about Magennis.
Doesnt look like he reads the game well in my opinion.
I thought that last weekend against quins.
and to notice someone perform bad out of that shambles of a performance, thats saying something.

Is Dixon injured?

other than that, great to see everyone picking themselves up.
Lomax looks the real deal.
Wello was fantastic too.

Graham isnt looking his best, is he carrying a knock?

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Ratings : Sun Mar 20, 2011 12:00 am
It slipped my mind during the game, but I'm fairly sure the rumour was that Clough had tonsilitus. So considering that, he played like a trojan.

Should I duck now for being a boring old fart for pointing that out???

Nah. It's Sunday now. You have my permission to be a boring old fart from now until we next have a glorious win that I really, really want to enjoy and get carried away over!

Magennis reminds me of Roy Haggerty (the real one). Both in terms of where he plays, how he plays, and his occasional brainfarts, like taking that kick whe obviously offside. Given he lacks size, and we already have umpteen medium-sized chunky second-rows, I can see him ending up at Crusaders/Salford next year.

I think he looks ok. He does remind me of haggerty as well. He has a good offload game.

Put some huge work in yesterday and won the collision consistently. I thought he was excellent, and along with Roby the best forwards on the field by a distance.
