Bold U15 played Wigan St Pats on Sunday at Bold. They're the two best teams at that age group. Bold where winning 14 - 0 just before half time then Pats number 8 decided to butt his opponent! Which resulted in a 13 vs 13 brawl!

The Wigan lad deserves a big ban. Credit to Bold they was awesome once again.

I hope it wasn't one of the Wigan bound Bold players that he butted.

Did he get sent of, sounds as though he deserved it?

The whole set up at Pats was a disgrace! A parent grabbed one of the Bold lads after it was called off, which is being reported by the childs welfare and also Steve Hampson? The ex Wigan player? Was also a disgrace in handling the situation. Blaming everyone but the Wigan Number 8.

The shocking thing is that the game gets re- scheduled and started at 0-0 which is poor as Bold was dominating.

Rogues the game was called off.

Are you saying Hampson was involved or Hampson is reporting the incident? If it was as bad as you say I hope the player gets a long ban and the parent an even longer one.

The incident started because the Bold centre made a huge tackle on the Pats 8 who is over 6 foot tall. He never liked it so got up and butted the Bold player straight in the face. Unbelievable.

This Bold teams looks brilliant. A number of them are at Saints and Wigan. Bold number 6 was excellent and also a big second row who as just signed from Rylands. His left Warringtons scholarship for Saints.

When and where will this be replayed? sounds like it would be a good game to go and watch.

I'll try and find out and I'll post it in this thread mate. Some cracking rugby being played at this age level.

DH has been a stand out player for Bold for quite a few years. My mates grandson plays for Hindley and he as been telling me about him for a long time. He says he is the best player that he has ever played against.

I believe he has signed for Saints, but I do know that Wigan are very keen on him.

I was speaking to his brother on Sunday and he told me he was at Saints. Also told me about the Warrington forward that had left Rylands.

One talking point was the fact DH hasent received a England call yet his opposite number for Pats had. Yet DH is on a totally different level. Outplayed him in the Lancashire final and on Sunday.
