St Helens ER in full effect before the opening game of the season eh? We do appear to have one of the worst conditioning and fitness teams in the competition. We looked buggered after 10 minutes last night.

I'm told wello might need a op on his rib problem.

strange, there was me thinking we looked far fitter than Wigan. After all it was they that faded in the last 20 minutes, not St.Helens

You weren't watching the same Saints that I was watching then. We came alive for the last 15 minutes. I thought we looked fitter and faster and leaner than we have for two seasons. We certainly stuck at it longer than Wigan did anyway! Patience has its rewards.
Shenton also played carrying a knock on his ankle, nothing to serious. Pryce's groin was just a tweak and should be back this week as long as there's no complications. Wellens already had a rib problem before the match which he had an injection for. I am led to believe the rib could be a tricky one and he may be out for a few weeks although I am not certain of that as of yet.
