Given that we have re-signed Meli and we also still have Gardner, I can't see Foster playing on the wing next season unless there is an injury to Meli or Gardner, which for mine is a great shame as he was progressing well.

Oh, and Roby has the 9 shirt now so it would appear that he is the starting hooker, perhaps with Moore as interchange (assuming Moore is still playing as hooker).

I'd like to think Foster will get a shot at a starting wing spot given he was ahead of Ade in the pecking order at the end of the season. He offers more to the team than ade in my view.

I think though that that was more to do with his goal kicking ability. Not that he wasn't good on the wing; I would agree that he definitely had more to offer the team than Gardner does these days. But had Potter had another goalkicker available to him, my guess is he would have played Gardner on the wing ahead of Foster last season and I'd be surprised if Rolls is any different. It would be good if he was, but I don't think he will be given that Gardner is probably being paid too much to be left in the u21s.

The interesting thing with this squad is the flexibility ti gives in terms of playing styles and positions in the forwars, we can go for size or mobility or a combination of both.

Good workmanlike side that will finish in the top 4 and possibly top 2 again, but we just lack a strike player in the backline to really scare teams.
