Saints have granted him leave of absence on compassionate grounds. He's gone home to tend to a family matter and should be back Towards the end of next week.

I've heard this is because his wife has refused to come over here and he's gone over to sort the issue out.

Same thing I heard too a few days ago. If it's a major issue we might not see him back at all

I think 12 months back I would have been happy to see him leave but he was certainly one of our form players 2nd half of the year and definately the biggest improver under Potter.
